Giving Back to the Community
At Nakiso Borehole Drilling we take pride in our community and involve ourselves in contributing to the needs of the less privileged.
We are committed to giving annually to the community through Community-Based Organisations, by drilling boreholes, which they in turn use to impact the community. Our pledge and commitment are to ensure that we continue to invest back into the communities in which we serve and operate.
What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?
Nakiso Borehole Drilling is actively involved in sponsoring or donating to causes in the area of community empowerment.
Nakiso Borehole Drilling's CSR Model: Nakiso Borehole Drilling’s CSR program has a goal of using borehole drilling to impact communities. Nakiso Borehole Drilling aims to bring water at the doorstep of every Zimbabwean home and thus give better access to water - one borehole at a time.
The Monthly Free Drilling Initiative
How We Pay For The Monthly Free Drilling Initiative: We are willing to drill a free borehole for a Community-Based Organisation.
1. The Requirement
The organisation must commit to referring at least 5 clients who pay for the drilling and casing services by Nakiso Borehole Drilling.
2. The Reward
This means for the organisation which needs to have a free borehole done for them, they will just need to refer five (5) paying clients and they will automatically get the sixth borehole drilled for them for free.
3. The Result
The five (5) boreholes will ensure that we drill your free borehole without any hustle or tussle. Please feel free to ask us any questions.

Fact 1: Know Your Borehole Casings
The Preferred Borehole Casing In Zimbabwe Is Class 9 and 10 (Pressure Classes.)
This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.
Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth
The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).
Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee
It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.
Fact 4: Siting Is Important
Making use of a hydrologist or traditional water diviner will increase your chances of having a successful borehole that will yield a sufficient amount of water.
Fact 5: Know The Risks
The risk of the borehole drilling lies with the property owner. The client will still be liable for the drilling costs irrespective of a borehole yielding water or not.
