Borehole Solar Systems in Zimbabwe

Solar pumps are an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly way to pump water for a variety of domestic and commercial purposes, including agricultural and residential irrigation and cattle or livestock watering.

Solar pumps are easy to install and require virtually no maintenance, and they can have a lifespan of roughly 20 years, so after the initial set-up costs, their servicing requirements are virtually nil.

Cost Saving Benefits:

Aside from the economic and environmental benefits of solar-powered water pumps, there are a number of other advantages that make them more attractive than battery or conventionally powered pumps. For instance:

Solar water pumps for your pool and more

Anyone with a swimming pool is familiar with the massive amounts of energy required to keep it sparkling clean. Installing a solar pump instead of a conventional pump will not only take a chunk out of your energy bill but will also ensure that your pool is kept environmentally clean. As with pond pumps, you need to consider your needs before committing to a solar pool pump.

Solar pumps have a variable flow rate, which is governed largely by the strength and direction of the sun; you need to purchase a pool pump that meets the needs of your pool’s flirtation system.

Swimming pool filtration systems that work best with solar pumps are sand and cartridge filters.

Fact 1: Know Your Borehole Casings

The Preferred Borehole Casing In Zimbabwe Is Class 9 and 10 (Pressure Classes.)

This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.

Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth

The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).

Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee

It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.
