The Gift of Sovereignty: Why a Borehole is the Ultimate Tribute to Dad

Moving Beyond Ties and Tools: Investing in Permanent Water Security for the Patriarch

In June, Zimbabwe honors the providers—the men who build foundations and secure the future. At Nakiso Borehole Drilling, we believe the best way to celebrate Dad is by helping him fulfill his most vital role: ensuring his family and his home never run dry.

The Provisioner's Legacy

Beyond the Traditional Gift

Father’s Day often comes with predictable gifts—socks, wallets, or power tools. But for the Zimbabwean father, the greatest stressor is often the infrastructure of the home. A borehole isn't just a utility; it is freedom.

Peace of Mind

Take the weight off his shoulders. No more worrying about council water schedules, no more negotiating with water bowsers, and no more dry taps during family gatherings.

Empower His Garden

For the Dad who takes pride in his lawn or his "shamba," a borehole is the ultimate tool. It allows him to maintain a lush, green sanctuary and productive food garden all year round.

Why a Borehole is the Best ROI for Dad

When you gift a borehole, you aren't spending money; you are reallocating capital into a permanent property asset.

Property Value

A reliable borehole adds up to 15% in immediate equity to his most valuable asset—his home.

Health & Safety

Clean, filtered groundwater is safer for the entire household than aging municipal pipe networks.

Economic Freedom

Zero monthly water bills means unlimited freedom to sustain a lush garden, livestock projects.

A Lifetime Legacy

Cased with Class 10 uPVC, a Nakiso borehole is designed to serve his family for decades to come.

Engineering Excellence

Built to His Standards

Dads appreciate quality that lasts. They hate "shortcuts" and cheap materials. That’s why we follow the Nakiso Engineering Standard on every Father's Day project.

Smart Solar Integration

Equip his borehole with Tier-1 solar panels and smart controllers. He will love the technical efficiency of pumping 10,000 liters a day at US$0.00 in electricity costs.

Class 10 Virgin Casing

We use 10mm wall thickness uPVC. It’s the "Industrial Strength" choice that Dads respect—resisting collapse and soil shifts where others fail.

Make This June Historic for Him

Don't wait until Father's Day is over. Surprise him with a site survey and a professional siting report today. Let us help you give the man who gives everything a gift that never runs dry.

Fact 1: Know Your Borehole Casings

The Preferred Borehole Casing In Zimbabwe Is Class 9 and 10 (Pressure Classes.)

This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.

Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth

The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).

Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee

It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.

Fact 4: Siting Is Important
Fact 5: Know The Risks
