Securing the Ascent: Guarding the Faithful

In a formal letter of appreciation, Administrator Aquinamary Guri highlighted the impact of Nakiso Borehole Drilling's support for the wages of the mountain’s security personnel between January and March 2026.

Watchman Contract Renewal

We are proud to confirm the renewal of the watchman contract. By ensuring a constant security presence, we allow thousands of pilgrims to travel up the mountain with confidence, knowing that their safety is guaranteed during overnight vigils and religious ceremonies.

Lighting the Path: Solar Technical Excellence

At Nakiso, we leverage our solar water pumping expertise to provide broader infrastructure benefits. Our technical team has successfully installed solar lighting along the treacherous mountain paths.

Visibility is Safety

The solar lighting installations help pilgrims move with greater ease, drastically reducing the risks of falls or injury during early morning and late-night climbs.

Sustainable Energy

Using Zimbabwe’s abundant sunlight, these lights operate with zero running costs for the Care Centre, ensuring permanent, maintenance-free illumination.

Mutemwa Mountain: A National Sanctuary

Rising 1,503 meters above sea level in Mutoko, Mutemwa is a world-renowned prayer destination.

Spiritual Significance

Features designated prayer stations and crosses, drawing those seeking divine healing and miracles from across the globe.

Strategic Prominence

Fact 1: Know Your Borehole Casings

The Preferred Borehole Casing In Zimbabwe Is Class 9 and 10 (Pressure Classes.)

This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.

Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth

The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).

Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee

It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.

Fact 4: Siting Is Important
Fact 5: Know The Risks
