Terms, Conditions & Warranties
Extra Drilling Costs (Beyond 40m)
Standard quotes cover up to 40 meters. Drilling deeper incurs the following costs per meter:
- Class 6 Casing: $35.00 / meter
- Class 9 Casing: $38.00 / meter
- Class 10 Casing: $40.00 / meter
Casing Warranties
We strongly recommend Class 9 or 10 for durability.
- Class 6: 3-Month Warranty
- Class 9: 1-Year Warranty
- Class 10: 2-Year Warranty
Note: If double casing is required on-site due to geological factors, extra charges apply ($35-$40 per meter depending on class).
Pump & Solar Warranties
- DC Pumps: 6 Months Warranty
- Terrier Pumps: 2 Years Warranty
- Solar Panels (PVs): 5 Years Warranty
- Backup Service: Free for 3 months after installation.
Important: Warranties are void if pumps are damaged by dry runs, lightning, or unauthorized tampering.
Installation Terms
1. Installation charges cover up to 5 meters from borehole for Solar Systems, and 10 meters swap distance for AC systems. Extra distances charged at $5/meter.
2. Prices listed exclude VAT (charged at 15%).
3. "Dry Hole Policy" applies unless stated otherwise.

Fact 1: Know Your Borehole Casings
The Preferred Borehole Casing In Zimbabwe Is Class 9 and 10 (Pressure Classes.)
This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.
Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth
The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).
Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee
It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.
Fact 4: Siting Is Important
Making use of a hydrologist or traditional water diviner will increase your chances of having a successful borehole that will yield a sufficient amount of water.
Fact 5: Know The Risks
The risk of the borehole drilling lies with the property owner. The client will still be liable for the drilling costs irrespective of a borehole yielding water or not.
