A Heartfelt Gratitude: A Step Forward Thanks to Ken Sharpe's Generosity

In the world of business, certain gestures transcend success and recognition. They encapsulate the spirit of encouragement and the power of shared inspiration. Such is the recent act of generosity from Ken Sharpe, the esteemed CEO of WestProp Holdings, whose kind gesture has deeply touched me.

I am Lincoln Masiyanyama, the CEO and Founder of Nakiso Borehole Drilling in Harare, and I find myself humbled and honored by Mr. Sharpe's magnanimous gesture. The Zimbabwe Institute of Management Businessman of the Year Award, a testament to his dedication and hard work, was entrusted to me, not as a possession, but as a beacon of inspiration.

Receiving this prestigious award from someone of Mr. Sharpe's stature is a privilege beyond words. His belief in the potential of young leaders like myself resonates deeply. To be acknowledged for the journey from a humble beginning as a vendor and bus conductor to steering a company employing over 80 individuals is both gratifying and motivating.

The significance of this award extends far beyond mere recognition; it serves as a reminder of the responsibility I carry—to continue striving for excellence, to push boundaries, and to pave the way for others as Mr. Sharpe has graciously done for me.

Mr. Sharpe’s words, encouraging me to hang this award in my office as a constant source of motivation, reflect his profound belief in the potential of the youth and the future we collectively envision for our country. His gesture not only reflects his generosity but also exemplifies his commitment to fostering a generation of leaders driven by dedication and determination.

Therefore, I extend my deepest gratitude to Mr. Ken Sharpe. Your selfless act has not only honored me but has fueled a fire within me to strive for greater heights, to make impactful changes, and to one day emulate the success that this award symbolizes.

In your trust and encouragement, I find renewed strength and purpose. Rest assured, this award will not only adorn my office walls but will serve as a constant reminder of the faith you've placed in me.

Once again, thank you, Mr. Sharpe, for your unwavering support and for being an exemplary mentor and role model. Your generosity has ignited a flame of determination within me, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity to create a positive impact in our community and beyond.

It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.
