International Day For The Eradication Of Poverty

The dignity of the human being is not only a fundamental right in itself but constitutes the basis of all other fundamental rights.

Nakiso Borehole Drilling team joins the World Commemorate International Day For The Eradication Of Poverty.  Poverty and inequality are not inevitable. They result from deliberate decisions or inaction that disempower the poorest and marginalized in our societies and violate their fundamental rights. The silent and sustained violence of poverty social exclusion, structural discrimination, and disempowerment make it harder for people trapped in extreme poverty to escape and deny their humanity.

- Dangerous work conditions
- Unsafe housing
- Lack of nutritious food
- Unequal access to justice
- Lack of political power
- Limited access to healthcare

In Conclusion, October 17th presents an opportunity to acknowledge the effort and struggle of people living in poverty, a chance for them to make their concerns heard, and a moment to recognize that poor people are the first ones to fight against poverty. Participation of the poor has been at the center of the Day’s celebration since its beginning.

The commemoration of October 17th also reflects the willingness of people living in poverty to use their expertise to contribute to the eradication of poverty.

This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.

Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth

The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).

Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee

It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.

Fact 4: Siting Is Important
