Zimbabwe National Heroes and Defence Forces - Why Forces are important to us as a Nation.

Heroes and Defence Forces are the special days to honour Zimbabwe's Heroes, the armed forces and the role they play in defending the nation.

These national public holidays in Zimbabwe are celebrated on Monday and Tuesday that is the second week of the month of August.

As Nakiso Borehole Drilling we celebrate the Heroes and Defence Forces each and every year.

Why forces are important to us as a Nation. Here are the reasons why we need them.

1.      1. The forces assist in law enforcement such as public orders, operations, border control, drug control and crime investigations.

2.       2. They participate in civil events including responding to national emergencies and natural disasters.

3.      3.  Protection tasks for example important personel, infrastructure or public events.

4.      4.  They assist in non security assistance tasks such as search and trainings, monitoring of equipment and facility provision.

5.       5. Develop mandates like infrastructure development and engineering project, harvest facility and educational programs.

Happy National Heroes and Defence Forces Day to you all.

Fact 1: Know Your Borehole Casings

The Preferred Borehole Casing In Zimbabwe Is Class 9 and 10 (Pressure Classes.)

This is because Class 9 and Class 10 Casings are more collapse resistant. The strength of a Casing is often described as collapse resistance.

Fact 2: Borehole Drilling Depth

The exact depth, of where the water is located, cannot be established by the drilling contractor nor the Water Surveyor (Borehole Siter).

Fact 3: There Is No 100% Guarantee

It is important to note that it is never a 100% guarantee that any hole will yield water, the amount and water quality can also not be guaranteed by the drilling contractor and water surveyor.

Fact 4: Siting Is Important
Fact 5: Know The Risks
